Field Eagle Tablet - Punch List Report

The Field Eagle Tablet will generate the report and display it as a grid similar to an Excel spreadsheet layout.

Above the report, you will see the Client name, Asset name, Date of Inspection, Location, Inspector Name, and Inspection Type.

The following will be a description of each field in the report.

1. Parent Item: This is the top-level item in the Item List.
2. Tag: The Value recorded in the Tag field. This is a unique identifier code for the item.
3. Group: This item is the first sub-child of the top-level item. It is second in the hierarchy level.
4. Sub Group: These are the remaining hierarchy levels below the Group, separated by a slash
5. Inspected Item: The inspected item by item name
6. Class: The class is the Item Category. This is set up on the Company Portal.
7. Regulatory Body: The regulatory body is a governing body or association that regulates standards for your industry.
8. Standard: Standards are the components of Regulatory Bodies
9. Defective Questions: This will display the defective question associated with the item
10. Defective Answers: This will display the defective answer associated with the defective question
11. Criticality: Depending on the value in this field, the cell background is coloured accordingly 
    • Yellow = Minor
    • Orange = Major
    • Red= Critical
12. Current Risk: The current risk field displays Inspector’s notes for the item
13. Serious Defect Note: If any serious defect note is issued by the Inspector while inspecting this Item, it will be displayed here.
14. Previous Answers: The field will display the previous answer submitted by the Inspector from the last completed Inspection for the associated item.
15. Parts & Services: The value displayed here comes from the Actions screen. What the Inspector inputs into the text area will appear here.
16. Action: The value displayed here comes from the Actions screen and is related to the Parts & Services field. It will read Select, Order Acknowledgement, Re-Approval, or Quotation. Note that on the Actions screen, the input for the Inspector is a drop-down control, and the default option is Select. The default will be displayed if the Inspector does not select any answer.
17. Required Action: The value displayed here comes from the Actions screen. What the Inspector inputs into the text area will appear here.
18. Schedule: The value displayed here comes from the Actions screen and is related to the Required Action field. It will read Select, ASAP, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months. Note that on the Actions screen, the input for the Inspector is a drop-down control, and the default option is Select. The default will be displayed if the Inspector does not select any answer.
19. Photos: Photos taken by the Inspector will be here. Up to 5 photos are permitted for display.
